Our collective community
In the last seven years, we have connected impacted communities, grassroots groups, native nations, concerned individuals and organizational allies from across our state. We are growing an ecosystem of people who take collective action by practicing the four Rs of social transformation. Our Collective is a web of authentic relationships that includes all those who direct our approach as well as participants in our NC Climate Justice Summits, our workshops and trainings, and our creative cultural work.
We recognize that some people—particularly people of color and poor people--are hit first and worst by the carbon polluting industries causing climate change and by the intensifying floods, droughts, hurricanes and sea level rise that result from climate change. We are guided by and focus our resources on the people who live in these most-impacted communities.
